I recently photographed a young professional for a feature in her university’s alumni magazine. We began the session in her DUMBO apartment to capture a series of interior portraits before moving outside to utilize the cobblestone streets and the Brooklyn Bridge as a backdrop. Editorial assignments like these provide the opportunity to blend traditional corporate portraiture with a more narrative, environmental approach. I enjoy the process of translating a subject’s professional background into a visual story that feels both polished and grounded.
